Sharing 180 years of Tetley expertise

TeaBritain is a nation built on tea and the loyal cuppa is an iconic symbol of British culture. To engage with the tea drinker of both today and tomorrow, the industry must continue to evolve and innovate. The dedicated educational resources Tetley offers provides operators with the information and insight needed to take advantage of the opportunity the Great British brew has to offer.

Do more with Tea

Do more with teaNothing can beat a good cuppa right? Your traditional builders brew, English Breakfast or Green Tea, we all have our favourite. However, in today’s world we can’t stick with the ordinary, consumers are constantly looking for new and exciting drinks to try, so quirky and unusual creations are inevitable. With Kantar research suggesting that 60% of consumers want to see new flavours and try new drinks every 60 days, so a varied menu can be an important way of driving repeat visits from customers looking for different experiences.

Bubble tea, a new beverage that has graced our high streets, is made from a blend of tea mixed with either milk or fruit. It’s the small chewy tapioca balls that sets this beverage apart, these “pearls” of flavour create the bubbles! They can also be adapted for the summer months, adding more ice to make a tea/fruit slushy, ideal to keep consumers hydrated in the sunshine.

Tetley launch The Tea Report 2017

trIt’s well-known that Britain is a nation built on tea and that it has become an iconic symbol of British culture. Many would agree that practically anything can be solved over a steaming hot cuppa.

With this in mind, on the 7th December Tetley was excited to announce the official launch of The Tea Report 2017 at St James’ Court, A Taj Hotel, followed by a very fitting – and delicious - afternoon tea. The Tea Report 2017 is the first of an annual overview of the out of home tea market. Tea is a beverage favoured when relaxing and socialising, so it is an essential menu item to consider during the festive period. What’s more, with the highest spend in speciality tea from the beginning of December until the New Year, customers are happier to spend more on indulgent tea’s that are considered a treat over the yuletide period
