The nations No.1 tea brand, Tetley is excited to announce the launch of the Hydration Handbook – the go-to guide to help care homes implement best-in-class practices. The care sector has been a focal point for Tetley throughout 2017 and the Hydration Handbook has been created with care professionals and caterers in mind and offers insight and advice to help keep residents hydrated in all care environments.
This summer Tetley supported The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, one of Scotland's most renowned events hosted at Edinburgh Castle. The event featured a line-up of performances from military bands and a fantastic firework display.

Tetley also teamed up with Red Lion foods for this event, which donates 100% of its profits to UK Armed Forces charities and causes.
Breakfast is booming out of home with £76 million spent on the first morning meal out of home on a daily basis. What’s more, breakfast is a vital day part when it comes to hot beverages, in particular tea. While 18% of all morning occasions out of home involve tea , there has been a decline of 4% in coffee occasions , presenting a key opportunity for operators to tap into by pairing brunch dishes with different tea blends.

Nothing can beat a good cuppa right? Your traditional builders brew, English Breakfast or Green Tea, we all have our favourite. However, in today’s world we can’t stick with the ordinary, consumers are constantly looking for new and exciting drinks to try, so quirky and unusual creations are inevitable. With Kantar research suggesting that 60% of consumers want to see new flavours and try new drinks every 60 days, so a varied menu can be an important way of driving repeat visits from customers looking for different experiences.
Bubble tea, a new beverage that has graced our high streets, is made from a blend of tea mixed with either milk or fruit. It’s the small chewy tapioca balls that sets this beverage apart, these “pearls” of flavour create the bubbles! They can also be adapted for the summer months, adding more ice to make a tea/fruit slushy, ideal to keep consumers hydrated in the sunshine.

Christmas is the biggest spending occasion of the year and an essential trading period for out of home operators. Over the festive period customers have a much more relaxed approach to their eating habits, taking the opportunity to socialise and indulge in festive treats.
