Today, the nation’s most well-known tea brand, Tetley , announces the launch of its best-ever enveloped tea range, exclusive to foodservice operators and available from November 2015.
In response to these findings, Tetley has developed a collection of ten enveloped teas to help operators maximise their tea menus, by offering consumers a wider selection of blends to suit a variety of taste preferences and complement each day part. Comprising a assortment of new and improved flavour combinations, the range includes top-selling, natural and new fruit & herbal and green blends. The new introductions feature Raspberry and Pomegranate, Lemon and Ginger, Mint Fusion and tropical Green Tea with Mango, supported by existing favourites Camomile and Green Tea with Lemon, Rainforest Alliance accredited black tea formats, English Breakfast and Earl Grey, and completed with the brand’s Great Taste Award winning Decaffeinated and Pure Green Tea blends.
The convenient self-merchandising packs feature all-new Tetley branding, along with contemporary and eye catching designs, reflective of each individual flavour combination. This follows feedback from operators who expressed a requirement for premium products that not only taste great, but look great in their establishments too.
The range will be available in cash and carry and wholesale outlets from November 2015, with formats including mixed variety and single blend pallets, in cases of 6x25. Operators will also be able to purchase the range direct from the Tetley Tea Academy website, along with a selection of marketing support and POS material, including display stands, available on request.

The launch will be supported by an extensive promotional campaign, including PR and advertising activity across trade media titles and digital platforms, with sampling predicted to reach over 100,000 end users. Tasting opportunities are also scheduled at a number of industry events, with the range unveiled at the lunch! show, 24-25th September 2015.
This new launch complements the existing selection of Tetley products available to operators and caterers, as well as in wholesale and cash and carry, which can be purchased via the Tetley Tea Academy website.
